Our Core Range of Estate Wines display the same style, consistency & volumes year to year.
Cabernet Sauvignon | Merlot | Petit Verdot | CdR (Rhone Style Blend) | Chardonnay
This 2014 vintage is a bit of a ‘beast’. The fruit was very ripe, due to the drought conditions leading up to harvest, and demanded a range of winemaking techniques to keep it in balance. It underwent barrel fermentation, partial malolactic fermentation and extended lees contact.
This unique variety is primarily used as a blending component. It has, however, found its true home in the gentle slopes of the vineyards in Paso Robles. It displays a brilliant combination of elegance and concentration... a wine of the future.
2011 Broken Earth Petit Verdot
Petit Verdot has emerged as arguably the most consistent performer of all the red varieties. It’s normally used as a blending component but we see a very complete wine able to stand alone & tall. The bouquet is rich, ripe & loaded with wild berry aromas. Subtle use of oak has allowed the true personality of the variety to shine. The palate is quite powerful, showing a many-layered complexity with great length of flavour & ripe, robust tannins. It’s a rare example of an intensely flavored wine that exhibits true sophistication.
The wine is deep garnet in colour and the aroma is dominated by masses of fruit. It is a wine that will appeal to many, even those with a preference for whites. The texture of the wine has a ‘white wine’ feel to it but presents with all the complexity of a beautifully balanced red.
The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon shows exactly why Paso Robles is the ideal region for this variety.
Our 2012 Estate Grown Merlot gets your attention immediately with its bouquet. There is an abundance of sweet black cherries, combined with spicy oak, both of which flow through the palate.

A dazzling wine. Breathe in deeply the luscious floral bouquet followed with spices, cherry and red fruit flavors on the palate and a delicious lingering caramel taste to finish.
